PARA-SOL is a collaborative design studio that offers architecture and design services. Our mission is to develop attractive, sustainable and accessible products and projects for as many people as possible.
The health of our planet and the well-being of our communities are at the heart of our concerns. This is why we want to create inspiring interventions and buildings that connect people with nature, beautify the built environment and promote an active lifestyle. We also seek to maximize the integration of ecological strategies in our projects, in particular by favoring production methods based on prefabrication, repetition and optimization. Our approach.
Since 2017, our firm has devoted a significant part of its practice to the development of prefabricated concepts in the fields of housing, outdoor living and street furniture. In partnership with local manufacturers, we have developed a range of solutions that reflect the principles and values we wish to promote. Our approach is motivated by the desire to facilitate access to projects that have been optimized in several aspects, notably in terms of manufacturing techniques, integration of ecological principles, construction costs and construction schedule.

Since each site is unique and tastes vary, our design concepts are customizable. We offer professional support to modify our design concepts according to your needs, whether it is modifying the choice of materials, reshaping a few outlines or improving the integration of the concept to the site. For projects that require a full design approach, we offer custom-made design services. Our studio.
PARA-SOL is led by architect and company founder David Giraldeau. Holder of a bachelor’s degree in environmental design (University of Quebec in Montreal, 2008) and a professional master’s degree in architecture (University of Calgary, 2011), David has established himself, over the course of his experiences, as a very versatile designer, interested in both industrial design and architecture. Making client satisfaction a priority, he is very involved and oversees all of the studio’s projects.
Simplicity, functionality and efficiency are recurring themes in the projects designed by PARA-SOL, but also in the process of carrying them out. Since the launch of the company in 2017, we have forged business ties with several specialists in the field of design and construction: manufacturers and general contractors, engineers, graphic designers, landscape architects, urban planners, etc. Depending on the scope and complexity of the mandates we undertake, we do not hesitate to call on our collaborators to form multidisciplinary, proactive project teams that are perfectly equipped to strive for excellence.
